Embryo guitarist Eugenio Sambasile has started a collaboration with Cripple Bastards, a historic Italian grindcore band founded in 1988. His baptism of fire as a session player took place last September 14, 2024, at Live Music Club in Trezzo sull'Adda (Milan, Italy), where the Asti-based band played as part of the Metalitalia Festival with the likes of Overkill, Destruction, and Morbid Saint, among others.
Eugenio states: “I am excited to start this collaboration with Cripple Bastards. Joining one of the most influential grindcore bands ever is an indescribable emotion. Cripple Bastards are a source of pride for Italian extreme music, I feel this responsibility but at the same time, I tremble with the desire to get on stage with them again”.
In addition to his concert activity, the guitarist from Cremona will participate in the songwriting process for the new Cripple Bastards album.
